"A developing..."Disclaimer: We're new at this. Forgive the formality of having a website... we are, together with our neighbors and those journeying alongside, learning community as we go. The community began in this house in February of 2011. "...intentional Christian community..."The buzz word, I know. We desire be intentional about loving each other and our neighbors. We desire to learn from those around us. We desire to use our home as a place that is intentional for fellowship and relationship building. We desire to intentionally get messy with, hurt with, and problem solve with our neighbors to address the challenges or injustices that affect us all. "... in the South Bronx."Our new home is a 4 level house in Mott Haven in the South Bronx. Several of the members have been living and/or working in the area for the past few years (and some are from here). We feel that community living will give us a unique opportunity to grow deeper with our neighbors, as well as provide opportunities to learn, to be stretched, and to serve one another. |
